Having undertaken a strategic review of their comprehensive product ranges, Cavin's - the umbrella brand for all CavinKaredairy-based products - identified the need to develop exciting newproduct ranges to extend their range and challenge in new markets.
Tropical fruits were used as the base for the newly introduced Mango and Banana milk shakes, which were created within a separate product sector to their existing, leading milk and fruit shake brands.
Vibrant colours were the obvious choice to convey the exotic nature – and mouth-watering flavours - of these new products and to connect the shakes to their ingredient mix.
We discounted the use of black and other similar, darker colours and created an airbrushed style which we used throughout the graphics specifically to give the branding an 80’s retro vibe. Whilst the new designs were completely fresh, we used type styles and fonts from Cavin’s existing milk and fruit shake brands to ensure the products were ‘on-brand ‘and recognisable within the CavinKare family of products.
